O WINE TUMBLER

machine-made & grape varietal specific

The RIEDEL O Wine Tumbler was the first varietal-specific wine tumbler in history.

In 2004, Maximilian Riedel grabbed the attention of the wine and tabletop industries with the introduction of his innovative collection of stemless wine glasses. “The “O” glass has delighted many and outraged a few,” said Maximilian. “People were quick to embrace a glass that offered all the enjoyment that Riedel is famous for, yet was more casual and added a playful element to the wine and spirits experience.”

The success of “O” is easy to understand: casual, contemporary and chic, perfect for those who crave elegant and uncomplicated designs that work for everyday use.

Today, the "O" collection has grown to include thirteen different glass designs including six varietally-specific wine glass shapes, as well as glasses for sparkling wine and spirits. The designs of the “O” stemless wine glass series are based on the benchmark shapes of the Riedel Vinum series. Design parameters such as the shape of the tumbler, size and diameter of the rim have been fine-tuned to enhance the world’s most important grape varietals.

The series is produced by machine in lead-free crystal glass, and sold in sets of two. All RIEDEL glasses are dishwasher safe.

“O” what will Riedel think of next?

BROKEN STEMS ARE A THING OF THE PAST.

SWIRL

SUBTLE CURVES FOR GREATER AROMATICS

Swirl was named after the ease with which they enable the wine to be swirled.

The series has a wavy shape with subtle curves, meaning the glass sits in the hand better and allows the wine to be swirled in the glass particularly well. With a tiny hand movement, the wine is effortlessly opened out and aerated with each gentle swirl.

These stemless glasses are endlessly versatile, also suitable for non-alcoholic drinks such as water and juice.
