Coles Launches Promotional Campaign with Spiegelau

The supermarket giant turns their focus towards renewable products

In a new campaign geared towards measured adult enjoyment, Coles has just announced that their next in-store promotion will partner with quality glass brand, Spiegelau. The giveaway was announced as part of Coles’ 2019 Christmas range and debuts a brand new Spiegelau range, Capri, consisting of six practical glass shapes: Bordeaux (Red Wine), White Wine, Champagne, Beer, Long Drink, and Mix Drinks.

Following backlash after their recent “Mini Shop” campaign, offering shoppers single-use plastic collectables targeted towards children, the major Australian supermarket chain has now chosen to partner with a nearly 500-year-old manufacturer with ongoing investment into renewable and recyclable practices. The glassware range is produced partially using up to 50% cullet (glass recycled from breakages), is recyclable itself, and is packaged in a 100% recyclable box.

The promotion is designed to entice customers in-store for their festive season shops, with a high-quality bonus offering that will elevate your Christmas table setting. Customers earn one credit towards the glasses with every $20 they spend in Coles, Liquorland, and First Choice. Once they have 25 credits, customers can redeem a twin-pack of Spiegelau Capri glasses.
