On September 27th, Maximilian Riedel, 11th generation CEO of the legendary wine glass producer Riedel, will be travelling to London to host the ultimate sensory wine and glass experience for wine consumers.
To celebrate the launch of the ground-breaking new Riedel Performance Collection, Maximilian will be conducting a comparative glass tasting. It will be the first time that the Performance collection will be used in a tasting in the UK. Maximilian will lead guests through a sensory experience, showcasing the phenomenal difference that glassware can make to the ability to enjoy fine wine.
The tasting will take place at the stunning Royal Horticultural Halls in London where Maximilian will guide those present through an enjoyable and educational tutored session. All attendees will also take home a Riedel Performance Tasting Set, worth £90, free of charge.
The Performance Range, grape varietal specific and showcasing a unique optical impact on the bowl of the glass, has been described as the ultimate loudspeaker for fine wines. The additional surface area that the creation of the optical effect gives, increases the inner surface area, allowing the wine to open up and fully show every aroma and subtle nuance. It is exemplary of the function-led design that Riedel have become known for.
Tickets for the tasting are now available here and start at just £60 per person, for a group ticket. A special limited VIP ticket for two is also available at £295 and includes a Fatto A Mano Decanter, worth £395 per ticket.
The tasting will be held on Thursday 27th September 2018, at:
The Royal Horticultural Halls (Lindley Hall)
London SW1P 2QW
Doors will open at 6.00pm, with the tasting starting promptly at 7.00pm. Aged 18 and over only. Please arrive in good time as we regret there will be no admittance once the tasting has started.
