The light, fragrant beer forms the basis. The smokey, spicy Tequila is propping up the beer and the citrus fruits and spices make your taste buds vibrate.

1 fresh red chilli, 1/2 cinnamon stick, 4 cl (40 ml) tequila, 1 cl (10ml) freshly squeezed lime juice, 1 cl (10ml) orange juice, 1 cl (10ml) orange liqueur (e.g. Cointreau), 1 tsp liquid honey, cold beer to top up, ice cubes.
Prepare the tequila the day before consumption. Wash the chilli pepper, carve lengthways with a sharp knife and pour into the tequila together with the cinnamon stick.
Remove chilli and cinnamon the next day. Add the tequila, juices, orange liqueur and honey to the shaker and mix until the honey has dissolved. Add 4 ice cubes, close shaker and shake vigorously for 20 seconds.
Fill the RIEDEL Veritas cocktail glass with an ice cube, pour the drink through the strainer into the glass and pour in beer.
