Fall Beer Bread Recipe

With fall officially here, the grills are tucked away and baking season takes over. What’s a better way to have beer this season? Baked in bread, of course! Try this simple beer bread recipe to serve at a football party, fall picnic or for an afternoon snack.

Beer Bread Recipe (Serves 6):

12 ounces of beer

¼ cup of sugar

3 cups of flour

1 teaspoon of salt

3 teaspoons of baking powder

¼ cup of butter (Optional)

Heat oven to 375 degrees. First, butter a loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3). Next, combine all dry ingredients in a bowl. Last, add beer and stir. Transfer mixture to buttered loaf pan and place in a heated oven for 45 minutes. Carefully remove bread once fully baked and pour remaining melted butter over entire loaf. Slice bread and enjoy!
