The basis of this cocktail is a light, fragrant beer. It is propped up by the smokey, spicy tequila, and the citrus fruits and spices make your taste buds vibrate.

Beer Cocktail with Tequila & Chilli
- 1 fresh red chilli
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- 4 cl / 40 ml tequila
- 1 cl / 10ml freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 cl / 10ml orange juice
- 1 cl / 10ml orange liqueur (e.g. Cointreau)
- 1 teaspoon liquid honey
- Cold beer
- Ice cubes
THE DAY BEFORE: Prepare the tequila by washing the chilli and carving lengthways with a sharp knife. Place in the tequila together with the cinnamon stick.
THE NEXT DAY: Remove chilli and cinnamon from the tequila. Add the spiced tequila, juices, orange liqueur and honey to a shaker and mix with a cocktail spoon until the honey has dissolved. Add 4 ice cubes, close shaker and shake vigorously for 20 seconds.
Fill the RIEDEL Veritas cocktail glass with an ice cube, pour the drink through the strainer into the glass and top up with beer.
