Amadeo Decanter

3 minutes min read
''

The original clear, lyre-shaped Amadeo decanter was introduced in 2006 to commemorate RIEDEL’s 250th anniversary. The name of the piece is a nod to fellow Austrian, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, whose 250th birthday was also celebrated that year. This hand-blown, crystal glass decanter is shaped like a lyre and pours like a dream.

Our Amadeo decanters

the elegant lyra-shaped masterpiece

Wine is simply decanted into the vessel’s wider opening and poured into the glass through its slender mouth. Effortless and pleasurable to use, the Amadeo decanter is a reminder that functional objects can be works of art – a classic RIEDEL hallmark.

The RIEDEL Amadeo Decanters are hand-blown and handcrafted from high-quality crystal glass, and is available in other iterations due to its ease of use and classics design.

The Amadeo shape comes in numerous variations:

  • Single - for a single bottle (750ml) available in clear or with a line detail in various colours
  • Double Magnum - for a double magnum (3000ml)
  • Mini - for a half bottle (375ml)
  • Fatto a Mano - for a single bottle with a striking optic effect and black and white colour detail
  • Performance (pictured) - for a single bottle with a striking optic effect and green colour detail
