Barbaresco

Developed in 1894 in the Italian Piedmont region, Barbaresco is a wine made from the red Nebbiolo grape. Barbaresco wines typically hold a rose-like scent, with cherry, licorice and truffles also coming through to create an overall smokey and earthy quality. Barbaresco is frequently paired with meat-focused dishes such as short ribs and beef roast.
