Hermitage (Rouge)

Red wine is the most produced wine from this Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée in the northern Rhône wine region of France. The most frequently used grape is the Syrah grape, which helps to produce fine, medium to full-bodied red wines that express granite-induced notes of smoked dark fruit. Hermitage wines are best left to age for at least 15-20 years to allow the wine to mature and soften.
