RIEDEL Wine Glass Experience at Vinesmith City Cellar Door in Melbourne

Hosted by Business Development Manager Candice Butka from RIEDEL Australia, this Tasting demonstrates the important role our wine glass plays in wine enjoyment. This fascinating class incorporates decades of research and development in Grape Varietal Specific glassware and will give you a glimpse into RIEDEL's 268-year history of design and invention.

With the use of four glasses from our elegant and extravagantly light machine-made series, RIEDEL Veloce, you can see for yourself why shape matters. RIEDEL Veloce is an impressive development based on state-of-the-art technology from RIEDEL’s own factory in Weiden, Germany. The series designs are based on the much-loved bowl shapes of RIEDEL’s Extreme series but delivered with a lighter profile. Recognising the evolution of modern wines, the Riedel family adapted the Extreme series following an intensive new round of comparative tastings - a project that provided the inspiration behind RIEDEL Veloce.

These four glasses will be varietally matched to four premium wines:

• Sauvignon Blanc
• Chardonnay
• Pinot Noir
• Shiraz
