Muskateller

Part of the Muscat family, this old grape variety is grown around the Mediterranean region and is represented by red Roter Muskateller grapes, and yellow Gelber Muskateller grapes. This grape variety is typically late-ripening and is known for delivering wines that have a slight nutmeg aroma and flavour. Muskateller wines lend themselves well to being drunk before a meal, as an apéritif or with an appetiser.
