Crianza is a designation of red wine which comes from the Rioja wine region in north Spain and is made from a blend of grape varieties. One of the most accessible Rioja wines, Crianza wines are aged for a total of two years, with a minimum of a year spent in oak barrels and before being bottled for the rest of the time.
