Grown primarily in Germany and the Alsace region of France, this white wine grape is one of the oldest cultivated vines in Europe. Sylvaner performs best when being used to produce dry wines that have distinct minerals coming through along with a very full body. These wines pair well with cheese fondue and spicy dishes, such as Mexican food or curries.
