Deals SA, in collaboration with the internationally acclaimed glassware company RIEDEL, proudly presents the glass maestro Maximilian J. Riedel.
The 11th-generation heir and current head of RIEDEL will welcome the Greek audience for a unique presentation on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 19:00, in the Ballroom of Aigli Zappeiou.
Maximilian J. Riedel will take participants on an insightful and engaging sensory journey, demonstrating the true impact that the shape and size of a glass have on the perception and enjoyment of wine.
The Austrian company RIEDEL, with a legacy of 265 years, is a pioneer in the design and production of wine glasses and decanters. In 1958, Claus J. Riedel was the first designer to recognize that the bouquet, taste, balance, and finish of wines are influenced by the shape of the glass from which they are consumed. Maximilian J. Riedel, in turn, is renowned for expanding RIEDEL's global presence and for his design expertise, applying scientifically proven techniques to create innovative and refined products.
RIEDEL wine glasses, developed in collaboration with leading oenologists, were the first to be meticulously designed to highlight the organoleptic characteristics of each wine—demonstrating that every type of wine requires a specific glass to enhance its aromas and flavors.
The presentation will feature the RIEDEL Veloce glass series. Under the guidance of Maximilian Riedel, each glass will reveal its full potential when paired with the right wine.
Each participant will receive a complimentary set of 4 RIEDEL Veloce glasses.
IMPORTANT: The event will begin promptly at 19:00, so we kindly encourage all guests to arrive from 18:30.
