Blanc de Blancs

The term 'Blanc de Blancs' generally describes Champagnes made from only Chardonnay grapes. When young, Blanc de Blancs are quite restrained and dignified, but hold a long aging potential as a rich, fruity expression intensifies in the wine over time. While most commonly associated with Champagne, the term 'Blanc de Blancs' is also used in other regions that produce sparkling white wines.
