Macabeo

Grown extensively in the Rioja region of northeastern Spain as well as in the south of France, this white grape variety is used to produce wines that range from dry to sweet. When aged in stainless steel, these grape produce wines that are crisp and floral, while wines aged in oak are more typically weighty, with honey and nuts emerging in the aroma.
