Whisky puro de malta
Elaborado solo de cebada malteada, el whisky puro de malta está destilado en una sola destilería de un mosto fermentado. Relacionados generalmente con Escocia, estos whiskys exhiben un carácter con vainilla, humo, nuez moscada, roble y frutas secas, además de malta. Los whiskys de malta pueden degustarse a temperatura ambiente o bien añadiendo un poco de agua, o puro, dependiendo del sabor y de la potencia del whisky.
